Planep 50 Tablet is generally used in combination with other medicines to control your blood pressure. It works by reducing the amount of water in the body by increasing the flow of urine. This way it lowers your blood pressure and helps in reducing your risk of having a stroke, a heart attack, other heart problems, or kidney problems in the future. This medicine needs to be taken regularly to be effective, so keep taking it even if you feel well. Do not stop without talking to your doctor.
SIDE EFFECTS OF PLANEP TABLET
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

HOW TO USE PLANEP TABLET
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Planep 50 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
HOW PLANEP TABLET WORKS
Planep 50 Tablet is a potassium-sparing diuretic. It lowers blood pressure and swelling by removing the extra water and electrolytes from the body without loss of potassium.
Planep 50 Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Planep 50 Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

Use of Planep 50 Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

WHAT IF YOU FORGET TO TAKE PLANEP TABLET?
If you miss a dose of Planep 50 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
